The Merci Collection is finished with a stone washed process, which gives them stain resistant properties and makes them completely safe to wash at home.
*The process also, naturally, results in a lot of extra fiber that needs to be shedded from the piece as it is washed and is to be expected. It’s just the last step in removing the excess fibers that were designed to be shed in the stone washing process...
*The application of raw edge linen can lose some long threads as it is washed, but they simply can be clipped....all of this adds to the warmth and charm of the fabric and is not a design flaw.....
We recommend washing weekly in cool water and in your dryer at low heat.
